Mini Grant Information
NALS members are encouraged to submit proposals for project funding under the NALS Mini-Grant Program. Grants of up to $2000 are available to fund projects that reflect the NALS mission.
Quantitative and qualitative projects in:
- improvement of education
- development, evaluation and refinement of educational innovations
- curriculum development
- clinical teaching experiences
- staff development are suggested areas for projects.
Each proposal is reviewed by members of the NALS Mini-Grant Committee. All applicants are notified of their status prior to the annual NALS Conference.
If you have an innovative idea and need funds to implement it, seriously consider putting your thoughts in writing and submitting it to be considered for a mini-grant. The cover letter form, proposal form, and a description of the rubrics that the committee uses in scoring the proposals are listed. We’re looking forward to your submission. Questions? Contact Dr. Elizabeth Morley, Chair Mini-Grant Committee at www.emorley@oise.utoronto.ca
